Our ecosyn® SEF is a combination of a self-locking nut with an integrated conical spring washer and a large contact surface. It’s a multifunctional fastening element for the safe connection of electrically conductive contacts, particularly in the high-voltage range. But the ecosyn® SEF is also excellently suited for purely mechanical connections. It is available in two types: M and L.
With vibrations applied or external loads on the clamping area, the special thread proves its effectiveness against loosening of the contact connections. The washer reduces surface indentations of a repeat assembly, which ensures perfect electrical conductivity. The larger contact surface of the ecosyn® SEF L reduces surface pressure and can effectively bridge the load bearing for slotted holes.

Arguments for the use of stainless steels (INOX)?
The higher material costs for stainless steel, compared with conventional structural steel, are offset by a significantly extended service life and thus sustainable solution. Depending on the alloy, stainless steels gain properties such as corrosion resistance, acid resistance, workability, cleanability, strength and many more.
